Referral Policy

This Referral Policy applies when you create a Caudal account through a referral link shared by an existing Caudal contributor (the referrer). It explains what the referrer can and cannot see.

1. Who referred you

When you sign up through a referral link, Caudal records which contributor shared that link. This is your referrer. The referrer is notified that you have created an account.

2. What the referrer can see

The referrer can see your name, your stage (a coarse indication of where you are in the process), and how many tasks you have had accepted.

3. What the referrer cannot see

The referrer can never see your earnings or payout amounts, your payment details or bank information, your identity documents or KYC materials, your assessment score or evaluation results, your contact details, or why any task or application was rejected.

4. Occasional reminders

The referrer may send you occasional in-platform reminders. You can mute these at any time. Muting is immediate and the referrer is not told you have muted them. Caudal will never send an email, SMS, or WhatsApp message on the referrer's behalf.

5. Your earnings are not affected

The referral arrangement is entirely between Caudal and the referrer. Your own pay for accepted tasks is never reduced because of a referral. The referrer receives a separate reward from Caudal, funded by Caudal.

6. Uploaded connections

If you appear in a referrer's uploaded connections list, Caudal will never contact you based on that list. The list is used only to show the referrer that you might be a good fit.
